*The Sun was on his way to Earth.*, He was riding fast, in his glorious chariot pulled by seven radiant horses. His rays were about to touch Earth when he heard a melodious song, one that tugged at his heartstrings. He looked around, and saw a tiny Koel singing the most beautiful song. I am sure she is singing for me, I should let her know I’ve come, thought Sun. My dear Koel, I have arrived. It's morning now!, he called out to her. Koel kept on with her song, lost in her melody.

Koel! for whom are you singing, if it’s not for me? Look, I am here! thundered the Sun. Koel emerged from her trance and realized that the Sun was talking to her! Good. good morning dear Sun! What an honor that I get to talk to you today! Truly this is my luckiest day as this is the second-best thing that has happened to me today!” replied the lovely Koel.

Sun didn’t expect this, he turned curious. What was the first best thing that happened to you today?, he queried. Oh! It was the gushing love and gratitude that poured from my heart this morning replied Koel. She continued, before your rays of warmth arrived, my heart brimmed with love and gratitude on its own. I felt the deep urge to thank dear Nightness for her serenity. I wanted to thank Chill Breeze for her reminder on why we needed warmth and you! I very much wanted to thank Moon for his cool healing rays, the Stars for revealing themselves in the dead of the night, the Sky, the Earth, the Trees, the Mountains, the Rivers for being there all throughout, and simply everyone and everything. Sorry I was so lost that I didn’t notice your arrival. Now, I get an opportunity to thank you as well, for another beautiful day. Thank you, dear Sun.

The Sun was humbled. He wanted to give this Koel something special. So, he sent his most warm, glittery, first golden sunshine upon her. Koel’s pure heart glowed brilliantly. Her song, her voice and tiny frame shined with eternal golden love, as she sang her song of thanks to the Sun. The Sun had reached Earth by then, and as a tribute to Koel’s love, he glowed gently throughout the day. All of the Sun's rays provided warmth, comfort, love, and joy. And, that day was indeed special to all Earth beings as nobody felt scorched anywhere, not even the tiniest worm in the Thar desert.
